Tailor - Yorkdale

Summary

Experienced Tailor responsible for performing alterations and bespoke tailoring of luxury menswear including jackets, pants and shirts at the Yorkdale store. Full-time permanent role reporting to the Head Tailor, focused on delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. The Tailor will maintain industrial sewing machines and pressers and work individually and as part of the store team to support store success.

Responsibilities

• Perform alterations and tailoring for jackets, pants and shirts to luxury quality standards.
• Use, maintain and troubleshoot a variety of industrial sewing machines and pressers.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build client satisfaction and loyalty through fittings and alterations.
• Work independently and collaboratively with the store team to meet performance and quality goals.
• Support the Head Tailor with fittings, measurements and quality control.

Requirements

• 5+ years of tailoring experience, specifically with luxury menswear garments.
• Proficiency operating and maintaining industrial sewing machines and pressers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent customer-focused communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
