Team Lead

As a Team Lead at our Santa Fe Springs location, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Supervisor and overseeing a team of 45 Lab Technicians. You will be responsible for training group members, resolving issues, and contributing to performance management. Your proactive approach and adaptability will be key in our fast-paced production environment.

• Support the Supervisor in overseeing Lab Technicians and managing daily operations.
• Train and mentor team members to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Contribute to interviewing candidates and providing performance feedback.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace.
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Remain flexible and adaptable as processes change.
• Commit to achieving goals independently and as a team player.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 to 3 years of related work experience in production or distribution, preferably in an optical lab setting.
• Experience in lead roles with a high level of professionalism.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift and lift up to 15 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
