Summary
The Total Rewards and Controlling Analyst supports compensation, benefits, payroll, and reporting initiatives across HR and Finance. This role leads annual personnel budget planning, labor cost modeling, and workforce analytics to inform decision-making and mitigate cost risks. The analyst prepares executive-ready dashboards and variance analyses, supports compensation assessments, and helps improve HRIS and payroll processes.
Responsibilities
- Own planning, consolidation, and management of the annual personnel budget and multi-year projections (BDG, PJ1, PJ2, 3YP).
- Prepare monthly workforce analytics on headcount, FTEs, and labor cost with variance analysis and executive summaries.
- Maintain Excel models for labor forecasting, hiring plans, compensation and bonus scenarios, and retail personnel cost analysis.
- Partner with Finance on monthly close activities to ensure correct cost allocation, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Lead compensation assessments, salary review processes, and participation in market salary surveys.
- Support HRIS, payroll, and administrative analysis to harmonize processes and improve reporting integration.
- Deliver ad hoc analyses and problem-solving to support retail and corporate HR cost control and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in compliance, total rewards, payroll, or HR analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR, finance, or related field preferred.
- Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling) and strong PowerPoint/Word abilities.
- Experience with HRIS, SAP, ADP or similar payroll and employee management systems.
- Proven experience in budget management, labor cost modeling, workforce analytics, and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project/change management skills with attention to detail.
