Trade Consultant

Summary

Provide first-class, luxury service to design trade clients by qualifying prospects, conducting consultations and site visits, and supporting design development in a high-end gallery environment. Partner with the Residential Trade Leader to grow the interior design trade business while maintaining brand standards and product expertise. Role involves local travel, showroom floor work and collaboration with internal teams to coordinate services and installations.

Responsibilities

• Represent the brand with polished communication and professional appearance
• Qualify and educate potential design and trade clientele through consultations
• Conduct site visits and assist with design development and product selections
• Coordinate internal services and product installations with gallery teams
• Provide product expertise and elevated client service
• Support visual and quality standards within the gallery
• Partner with Residential Trade Leader to grow the trade business
• Travel locally and occasionally out of state as required

Requirements

• Experience in a high-end interior design showroom
• Strategic, highly organized and results-oriented approach
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for building a trade business
• Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office and Google applications
• Current driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift items up to 25 lbs using proper equipment and safety techniques
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel and maneuver around gallery and stock areas
