Visual Merchandiser - Shops At Merrick Park

Summary

The Visual Merchandiser creates and maintains compelling in-store presentations that reflect current fashion trends and drive customer engagement. This role partners with department managers to implement visual standards, install displays and support store promotional events while adapting to changing business needs and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute visual merchandising strategies and store presentations
• Partner with department managers to teach and uphold visual standards
• Support merchandising, signing, and directional implementation customized for the store
• Install and remove trim and window displays for promotional events
• Execute in-store lighting program and visual enhancements
• Build and assemble visual props and displays as needed
• Use ladders and tools safely to complete installations
• Work a flexible schedule based on store and department needs

Requirements

• Experience in merchandising and styling with knowledge of current fashion trends
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Basic construction skills for building and assembling props preferred
• Ability to use ladders, drills, box knives, and miscellaneous tools
• Comfortable with computers and learning new applications
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including variable hours
