Summary

The Webber applies webbing to the seat of upholstery wood frames following quality and product specifications. This manufacturing role uses hand tools and performs duties across the production area to support successful furniture assembly.

Responsibilities

• Apply webbing material to wood upholstery frames at specified tension
• Use hand tools such as staple gun, mallets, hammers and staple pullers
• Read and follow production tickets for correct assembly
• Perform other duties as required throughout the manufacturing area
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Follow safety guidelines when lifting and mobilizing furniture
• Assist team members and communicate effectively on the production floor

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months prior experience in a similar role with knowledge of upholstery product
• Able to read production tickets
• Adequate communication skills to interact with team members
• Ability to multitask with minimal supervision
• Detail oriented with reliable attendance
• Ability to stand, twist, stoop, kneel, squat, bend and climb for prolonged periods
• Capable of lifting and mobilizing furniture in excess of 100 pounds using appropriate equipment
