Women's Design Intern High Jewelry

Summary

Paid 10-week summer internship focused on high jewelry women's design, collaborating with the design team on projects, capstone presentation to senior leadership, and participating in professional development events. Interns will support gemstone management, mock-up creation, and organization of the high jewelry reference library while gaining experience in luxury jewelry design tools and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Quality-check and polish gemstones and ensure certification before turnover deadlines
• Determine stone quantities for styles and manage ordering to ensure timely availability
• Collaborate with shop and CAD teams on exploratory projects and provide reference materials
• Create quick mock-ups and photoshops to facilitate design discussions and approvals
• Develop and maintain a system to reference previous waxes castings and test sets
• Organize and document materials by collection setting style and component for team access
• Support the design team on future line item preparation and research

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Jewelry Design program with minimum 3.0 GPA
• Jewelry Design major required
• Detail oriented with strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Proficient in Photoshop Illustrator InDesign and Excel
