Job Description

Main Purpose

Responsible for the North American independent and chain doors. Directly responsible to monitor and drive sell through, ensure proper assortment in each POS and develop strong relationships with principals and store personnel. Close collaboration with the sales administration, marketing, retail and customer service teams to manage the daily business and ensure that the brand’s image is appropriately represented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure sales targets are met and support partners on proper allocations.
  • Manage the day-to-day sales activity of wholesale clients (doors and external boutiques as needed) in the Us and Canada
  • Monitor sell-out activity at each point of sale.
  • Ensure proper assortments are being represented at each account.
  • Partner with the Avp Operations for the monthly assortment replenishment and manage the pipeline of sold orders.
  • Partner with marketing team to efficiently identify/market target demographics in each local market and to Co-host private events with partners to enhance the brand experience for end clients
  • Ensure proper follow-up with Concierge and Rtc for all the after sales issues.
  • Develop strong and long-lasting relationships with principals and all the sales professionals in the wholesale network.
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative market feedback.
  • Training of all doors to communicate brand history, product knowledge and visual merchandising at each point of sale in partnership with the Marketing department.
  • Directly responsible for brand’s visibility at point of sale and implementation of corners/build-outs with the support of the Visual Merchandising and Store Planning team.
  • Ensure timely reporting as need to local team and HQ including Panerai KPI’s (Sell out, CRM, Auto Replenishment, stock aging, etc.).
  • Support independent/national retailer events within territory (east coast USA and Canada).

Qualifications

  • Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of related experience in Wholesale and/or Retail in the luxury or jewelry/watch industry.
  • Excellent computer skills, Excel and PowerPoint experience required.
  • A true “customer service” attitude with strong proactive skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed with an emphasis on detail and organization, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently with strong follow through as well as part of the team.
  • Travel up to 75% (occasionally including weekends for dealer events).
