Responsibilities- Account for U.S. and Canadian subsidiaries.
- Prepare internal Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet Reports, and other analyses as needed.
- Handle Prepaid Expense Amortization Journal Entry and Reconciliation.
- Manage Accrual Journal Entries and Reconciliations.
- Post and reconcile Travel and Entertainment Expenses.
- Prepare Journal Entries and Reconciliations in compliance with group policies and SOX compliance.
- Submit accurate financial reports to the parent company.
- Conduct Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations.
- Prepare documents for Auditors and support audit processes.
- Maintain open communication with management and audit committees.
- Document processes and prepare audit findings memorandums.
- Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management’s interventions.
- Support and prepare necessary documentation for internal & external audit scope.
- Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation and data.
- Adhere to and comply with SOX controls and compliance.
Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 2 years of related experience in public accounting, retail, fashion, consumer package goods, or CPA firm.
- Proven working experience as Auditor / Compliance Associate.
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Excel; SAP experience is a plus.
- Ability to manage and organize large amounts of information with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and concurrent tasks.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively across departmental functions.
