Accounts Payable Specialist

As an Accounts Payable Specialist at Dolce & Gabbana, you will support the Finance team with day-to-day functions, handling the full cycle of accounts payable activities, month-end accruals, and vendor reconciliations. This position is based in NYC and offers a hybrid work schedule.

• Enter suppliers’ invoices and book invoices for auto debit accounts.
• Conduct self-assessment of use tax and work closely with 3rd party vendors to review statements and reconcile accounts.
• Run monthly AP Aging report and reconcile AP Aging to GL (non-intercompany).
• Maintain accurate records and control reports, and record monthly accruals.
• Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers.
• Assist during interim and year-end audits.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, etc.).
• Previous experience with general ledger and month-end close, Accounts Payable.
• Strong clerical background including typing and data entry skills.
• Orientation to innovation and efficiency in managing Accounts Payable flows and payment methods.
• Understanding of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles.
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 is a plus.
