Alterations Associate

Summary

Provide expert tailoring and fitting services consistent with company quality standards, delivering high level client service during alterations and fittings. Work collaboratively with sales staff to meet client needs and execute precise garment modifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform alterations according to client specifications and company standards
• Make accurate markings on garments to ensure correct alterations
• Execute fittings and adjust garments for proper fit
• Handle special customer requests related to alterations
• Collaborate with Sales Associates to provide exceptional client service during fittings
• Follow the PRL system to maintain productivity
• Ensure clarity and consistency of markings for other tailors

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of related alterations and fitting experience
• Experience preferably in a high end retail environment
• Strong attention to detail and precision in garment work
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
