Summary

Provide high-quality alteration and repair services for luxury garments in the Palm Beach boutique, ensuring exceptional client fit and service. Execute complex alterations on delicate fabrics and detailed constructions while maintaining production standards and organization. Collaborate with the boutique team and Client Development Manager to deliver personalized client experiences.

Responsibilities

• Fit garments on clients and determine appropriate alteration approaches
• Perform hemming, mending, lengthening, taking in and letting out seams, and complex specialty work
• Work with delicate fabrics and details such as chains, tweeds, silks, beading, leather, and fine tailoring
• Label and record client garments and alteration requirements; organize and maintain client-owned pieces
• Maintain and ensure sewing machines and equipment are in proper working order
• Provide styling and fitting advice and build positive client and team relationships

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of alterations experience in a luxury retail environment preferred
• Strong technical background with knowledge of various fabrics and specialized techniques
• Exceptional attention to detail, client service skills, and effective communication
• Ability to work under time constraints and maintain production standards
• Ability to lift 15 lb and work a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and some holidays; in-store presence required
