Summary
The Development Analyst supports the end-to-end product development process by driving visibility, coordination, and operational discipline across development teams. This role tracks milestones, surfaces risks, organizes decision-making, and ensures cross-functional alignment throughout the product lifecycle. The Analyst builds working knowledge of development workflows, engineering dependencies, and manufacturing processes to enable effective escalation and execution.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain development timelines, milestone trackers, and project status dashboards and prepare status updates and meeting materials.
- Track progress across active development launches, identify timeline risks and bottlenecks, and escalate blockers through governance channels.
- Oversee stone inventory needs for projects, including stone requests, work order creation and cleanup, bill of material setup, and PO requests.
- Support stage-gate readiness tracking and confirm approvals and deliverables prior to milestone transitions.
- Maintain centralized documentation, standardize reporting and templates, and improve process visibility and accountability.
- Coordinate information flow across Product Marketing, Design, Industrial, Planning, suppliers, and other cross-functional partners and follow through on action items.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Merchandising, Industrial or Process Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of relevant development or project management experience supporting product development.
- Skilled in project development with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable discussing technical topics, understanding product creation processes, and using intermediate Excel daily.
- Experience identifying schedule risk, tracking dependencies, and escalating issues through defined channels.
- Familiarity with jewelry manufacturing and project management or collaboration systems preferred.
