Summary
The Analyst - Global Financial Systems will act as a liaison between business strategy, business processes, and internal controls to support financial data governance, financial application security governance, and process improvement projects for global finance and accounting teams. The role works with financial applications including Blackline and JD Edwards and collaborates with finance and IT stakeholders to enhance processes and controls.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Financial Data Governance processes, data, and systems in collaboration with finance and accounting process owners.
- Develop and maintain global process and control documentation using process maps or narratives.
- Assist with global financial application security maintenance and monitoring activities.
- Assess impact of business process changes on people, systems, and operations using key performance indicators.
- Lead or participate in special projects and assignments as directed by management.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes and improve financial and operating controls.
- Collaborate closely with finance and IT teams to implement solutions.
Requirements
- 3 years of diversified finance, accounting, and systems related experience.
- BA or BS in a relevant field, preferably finance or accounting.
- Strong understanding of financial data governance principles and practices.
- Experience with financial application security governance and implementation.
- Experience with financial applications such as JD Edwards and Blackline.
- Proven ability to lead and contribute to process improvement projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
