Analyst, Operations Finance

Summary

As an Analyst, Operations Finance, you will support Holt Renfrew's eCommerce and omnichannel business through financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis. You will partner with Digital, Operations, and Finance leaders to translate financial results into actionable business insights and support operational decision-making. The role combines FP&A fundamentals with business partnering and requires developing financial models and monitoring key performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close activities including accruals, variance analysis, reporting, and commentary on financial results.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting for operating expenses, incorporating business drivers and historical trends.
• Develop and maintain financial models, outlooks, and performance reporting tools to monitor KPIs.
• Investigate financial and operational performance trends to identify drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with eCommerce, Operations, and Finance stakeholders to provide insights and support business objectives.
• Assist with ROI assessments, post-investment reviews, and business case analyses.
• Contribute to process improvements and reporting enhancements through ad hoc analysis.

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a related role.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets, financial models, and forecasting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with SAP, IBM Cognos, Fabric, Power BI, or similar systems is an asset.
• Interest in retail, eCommerce, or omnichannel operations is an asset; proactive and resourceful approach to work.
