Summary
The Home & Accessories Sourcing & Production Analyst owns end-to-end procurement, order placement, and supplier relationship management across Home & Accessories categories. The role ensures timely product deliveries, accurate master data, and operational excellence while serving as a key stakeholder to cross-functional teams. This position follows a hybrid schedule requiring four days in-office in New York and one remote day.
Responsibilities
- Manage all purchase order placement activities, including off-cycle orders, and communicate orders to suppliers.
- Track open orders and supplier delivery timelines, follow up on shipment statuses, and escalate risks as needed.
- Review supplier delivery performance and work with suppliers to address delays and drive improvement.
- Coordinate monthly supply plans, confirm quantities, pricing, and delivery dates, and update orders in systems prior to release.
- Support cost negotiations and review price matrices with suppliers to align with commercial objectives.
- Support new retail product launches and special projects by tracking production status, pricing, and shipment schedules.
- Own sourcing component of SKU setup and maintain core master data such as country of origin, price, and lead time.
- Partner with Accounts Payable, Receiving, and suppliers to investigate and resolve invoice, PO, and receiving discrepancies.
- Support responsible sourcing, supplier onboarding, quarterly supplier reviews, and Return to Vendor processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage priorities and keep stakeholders aligned.
- Highly analytical and detail-driven with strong troubleshooting and risk mitigation skills.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment and work flexible hours/overtime as needed.
- Preferred: experience with SAP BusinessObjects, ERP systems, Power BI, third-party supply chain processes, and managing global shipments.
