Summary

Responsible for protecting store assets and ensuring a safe shopping environment at the Roosevelt Field location. Conducts investigations into suspected theft and loss, collaborates with store and law enforcement when necessary, and maintains accurate incident records. Works full time to deter shrink and support loss prevention initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations into suspected theft and internal loss incidents
• Monitor store activity through floor patrols and surveillance systems
• Detain and interview suspects following legal and company guidelines
• Collaborate with store management and local law enforcement as needed
• Prepare and maintain detailed incident and evidence reports
• Provide testimony or statements for legal proceedings when required
• Implement and advise on loss prevention strategies to reduce shrink

Requirements

• Prior experience in loss prevention, asset protection, security, or related field
• Knowledge of theft prevention techniques and investigative procedures
• Strong observation, communication, and report writing skills
• Ability to interact professionally with customers and law enforcement
• Availability to work retail business hours and full time schedule
• Ability to stand and patrol the sales floor for extended periods
