Part time Asset Protection Visual Security Officer responsible for maintaining a safe shopping environment at the Roosevelt Field location through visible presence and proactive loss prevention measures. The role focuses on deterring theft, monitoring premises, and supporting store safety protocols while providing professional customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visible patrols of sales floor and common areas to deter theft and misconduct
• Monitor surveillance systems and report suspicious activity
• Respond to incidents and assist with investigations as needed
• Work with store management and local law enforcement when appropriate
• Document incidents and prepare accurate reports
• Assist in enforcing store safety and security policies
• Provide customer service while maintaining a security presence

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of related experience in security or loss prevention preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work part time schedule including nights and weekends
• Ability to follow protocols and prepare clear written reports
