Asset Protection Outlet Associate - Bergen Town Center

Summary

The Asset Protection Outlet Associate provides loss prevention and safety support at the store level, focusing on protecting merchandise and promoting a secure shopping environment at the Bergen Town Center location in Paramus, NJ. This part-time role works with store leadership and the store team to deter theft, investigate incidents, and maintain compliance with asset protection policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the sales floor, fitting rooms, and entrances to deter and detect theft or suspicious activity.
• Operate CCTV and electronic article surveillance systems and conduct routine audits.
• Investigate incidents, prepare accurate incident and theft reports, and coordinate with store management and law enforcement as needed.
• Support inventory control and recovery efforts, including conducting floor checks and assisting with shrink-reduction initiatives.
• Provide professional customer service while enforcing store policies and loss-prevention procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of retail or loss prevention experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work part-time schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to pass background check and comply with company asset protection policies.
