The Asset Protection Outlet Associate is responsible for protecting company assets and maintaining a safe shopping environment at the outlet in Rosemont. This part-time, frontline role observes the sales floor, deters theft, and supports investigations while working closely with store and security teams. The associate interacts professionally with customers and team members while enforcing store policies and loss prevention procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the sales floor and surrounding areas for suspicious activity and potential theft.
• Conduct routine audits, merchandise checks, and recovery of stolen goods when necessary.
• Prepare and maintain incident and investigation reports accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with store management, security personnel, and local law enforcement as required.
• Support store operations by providing a visible deterrent and assisting team members with safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail or loss prevention experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to observe activity for long intervals.
• Comfort handling confrontational situations professionally and following established procedures.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and peak holiday periods; ability to pass a background check.
