Part time Asset Protection Visual Security Officer responsible for maintaining a safe retail environment through visible presence, loss prevention observation, and customer service. Role focuses on deterring theft, monitoring premises, and supporting store operations while collaborating with store leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols and visual surveillance of sales floor and perimeter.
• Monitor CCTV and other security systems for suspicious activity.
• Detain or report suspected shoplifting incidents following company procedures.
• Assist store team with safety protocols and emergency response.
• Document incidents and prepare clear incident reports.
• Work with law enforcement when necessary to resolve security issues.
• Provide visible customer service presence to deter loss and assist shoppers.

Requirements

• Previous retail or security experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and report writing abilities.
• Ability to handle confrontational situations calmly and professionally.
• Availability to work part time schedule including weekends and holidays.
