Part-time Asset Protection Visual Security Officer responsible for maintaining store safety and deterring theft through visible presence and proactive security measures. Responsibilities

• Provide visible security presence on the sales floor and surrounding areas to deter theft and misconduct.
• Monitor store activity through observation and reporting of suspicious behavior.
• Respond promptly to incidents and coordinate with store management and authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of sales floor, entrances, and common areas.
• Assist with investigations and document evidence and incident reports accurately.
• Support loss prevention programs and implement safety protocols.
• Engage with customers in a professional manner while maintaining security responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of relevant experience in security or loss prevention, or equivalent training.
• Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods and respond quickly to incidents.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting with customers and store teams professionally.
• Ability to follow procedures for documentation and evidence handling.
• Willingness to work part-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
