Part time asset protection visual security officer responsible for deterring loss and maintaining a secure shopping environment at the Valley Fair location. Role focuses on observation, reporting, and collaborating with store teams to prevent theft and ensure customer safety. Officer will conduct patrols and monitor premises while supporting incident response procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visible patrols of sales floor and common areas to deter theft and suspicious activity
• Monitor store entrances exits and parking areas for unusual behavior
• Observe and report incidents to management and law enforcement when required
• Assist with incident documentation and evidence preservation
• Collaborate with store associates to address loss prevention concerns
• Provide a visible security presence to reassure customers and staff
• Follow company policies and store procedures regarding apprehensions and detentions

Requirements

• Prior retail or security experience preferred
• Ability to remain observant and attentive for extended periods
• Good communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to follow procedures and complete incident reports accurately
• Flexible availability to work part time hours including weekends
