Summary
The Assistant Gallery Leader provides leadership to cross-functional teams to create a luxury gallery experience and ensure high-quality execution of strategy and operations. This role supports the leadership team, coaches and develops gallery associates, and represents the brand through professional presentation and communication.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop teams to promote a positive and dynamic environment
- Coach and mentor gallery associates to drive performance and engagement
- Support leadership with new initiatives and training implementation
- Represent the brand through polished communication and professional appearance
- Attract and help recruit talent for gallery positions
- Set and ensure execution of strategy with commitment to quality
- Recognize and respond to complex priorities and challenges
- Demonstrate results-driven leadership and lead by example
- Maintain gallery operations including floor and stockroom coordination
Requirements
- 5+ years of leadership experience in high-end furniture design showrooms or luxury retail
- Interior design experience preferred
- Superior organization and leadership skills
- Exceptional analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to motivate influence and inspire others
- Commitment to quality with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient with current technology such as iPads Mac and PC
- Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 25 lbs and maneuver around gallery floor
