Summary

The Assistant Manager - Beauty supports the Department Manager in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences through directive selling, coaching the team, and maintaining merchandising and inventory standards. This role focuses on achieving department volume and productivity goals while acting as a product knowledge expert and fashion role model.

Responsibilities

• Use directive selling to meet or exceed sales goals
• Build personal trade by developing and maintaining customer relationships
• Assist Department Manager in developing and executing a business plan to achieve volume and productivity targets
• Coach sales associates to meet Sell More Make More goals and deliver outstanding customer service
• Act as a fashion role model and product knowledge expert for customers
• Ensure merchandising and presentation standards are met
• Maintain accurate inventory management

Requirements

• Proven track record of successful sales results and productivity
• Experience with directive selling techniques to set and achieve sales goals
• Ability to use sales metrics to identify opportunities and drive volume
• Strong organizational skills and attention to follow through
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Demonstrated ability to coach and lead a sales team
