Summary

The Assistant Manager - Beauty supports the Department Manager in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service through directive selling, coaching the sales team, and maintaining merchandising and inventory standards. This role focuses on achieving department volume and productivity goals and acting as a product knowledge and fashion role model.

Responsibilities

• Use directive selling to meet or exceed sales goals
• Build and maintain personal trade and customer relationships
• Assist Department Manager in developing and executing a business plan to drive volume
• Coach and train salespeople to achieve Sell More Make More goals
• Act as a product knowledge expert and fashion role model for customers
• Ensure merchandising and presentation standards are met
• Support accurate inventory management
• Use key metrics to identify opportunities and drive sales

Requirements

• Proven track record of successful sales results and productivity
• Experience with directive selling techniques
• Ability to use sales metrics to identify opportunities
• Strong organizational skills and follow through
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Customer service and coaching experience
