Summary
The Assistant Manager Visual Merchandising supports creation, planning and implementation of visual merchandising across the US Canada and Mexico following Maison visual standards. This role partners with production vendors retailers Sales Marketing Events Training and HQ to manage design proposals production prototypes installations and in-store experiences while reporting to the Manager Visual Merchandising.
Responsibilities
- Support creation of design layouts and formal proposal presentations for events campaigns repushes pop ups and outposts
- Review production material and prototypes with vendors for campaigns repushes and window production
- Partner with Sales Marketing Events Training Operations and Store Design on VM requests POSM forecasting and distribution
- Forecast and order VM tools and POSM for campaigns reopens and new store openings
- Create VM distribution lists and visual presentations for HQ North America team and retailers
- Adapt visual merchandising schematic designs for US Canada and Mexico markets using Adobe Suite
- Create and layout VM schematics for new store openings and semi customization using Sketchup
- Support travel schedule for prototype production and installations and manage travel expenses and budgets
Requirements
- 6 years of experience in visual merchandising with background in design production planning and implementation
- Exceptional visual standards and ability to execute brand visual direction
- Excellent organizational and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to oversee multiple simultaneous projects and work flexible hours including mornings evenings weekends
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally averaging about 20 percent quarterly
- Strong computer skills in MS Office Excel Outlook and PowerPoint
- Strong design software skills in Adobe Suite Illustrator Photoshop and Sketchup
- Speaking French is a plus
