Assistant Store Director - Madison Flagship

Summary

The Assistant Store Director supports the Store Director in achieving the flagship store’s business objectives and contributes to the overall success of the brand. The role assists in daily store management with a focus on team leadership, client relations, operational efficiency and sales performance. Acts as a brand ambassador and supports VIP client management and post-purchase client care.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience.
• Manage and develop a high-performing sales team through training and coaching.
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards and manage VIP client relationships and PR engagements.
• Implement hospitality and hosting practices to deliver a luxury in-store experience.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and performance feedback activities.
• Oversee store operations, inventory levels, visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Complete administrative tasks and reporting accurately and on time.
• Manage client care services including repairs, warranties and exchanges.

Requirements

• University degree (e.g., bachelor’s) in a related field.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience, preferably in luxury retail.
• Proven track record managing a high-traffic store as a leader.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in training and coaching team members.
• Proficiency in digital tools and POS systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
