Assistant Store Director - Rodeo Drive

Summary

The Assistant Store Director supports the Store Director in delivering retail excellence at the Rodeo Drive boutique by driving sales, coaching the team, overseeing stock and visual merchandising, and contributing to store reporting and P&L responsibilities. The role emphasizes on-floor leadership, clienteling, and ensuring an elevated customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and motivate sales associates to achieve and exceed category and individual sales objectives
• Lead by example on the selling floor and drive clienteling and new client acquisition
• Support sales process, handle customer issues, and assist with consignments
• Perform daily reporting and sales analysis and take action to improve results
• Ensure and maintain store visual merchandising standards in coordination with VM Manager
• Support recruitment, training initiatives, inventory accuracy, shrink control, and special projects

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of retail experience with emphasis on store management or office administration, preferably in luxury
• Proven leadership, coaching, and team-building skills with a results-driven mindset
• Strong customer service orientation, problem-solving, and social perceptiveness
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; computer literate
• Foreign languages considered a plus
