Assistant Technical Designer

Summary

The Assistant Technical Designer will support the Technical Design team at the downtown headquarters in a hybrid role, assisting in creation of tech packs, evaluating samples for fit and construction, and supporting development milestones to ensure product aligns with brand intent.

Responsibilities

• Develop clear tech packs including measurement worksheets and construction images
• Evaluate samples to ensure specifications quality and construction standards are met
• Measure samples and participate in fit sessions as needed
• Support the Technical Design Team to meet calendar milestones and due dates
• Maintain sample organization throughout development and production lifecycle
• Assist in special projects as directed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design Apparel Manufacturing Pattern Making or equivalent experience
• 1+ year of experience in Technical Design preferably within apparel
• Strong organization time management and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
• Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management software preferred
• Exposure to 3D apparel development and 2D pattern software preferred
