Assistant Warehouse Manager

As an Assistant Warehouse Manager at our NJ warehouse in Lincoln Park, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Warehouse Manager in planning, budget control, staffing, and daily operations. You will ensure the warehouse operates efficiently and safely, adhering to all health and safety standards.

• Manage and support Senior Supervisors and provide daily briefings.
• Assist in budget management and financial reporting.
• Oversee health and safety compliance and training.
• Manage internal security procedures and timesheet monitoring.
• Support continuous training and development of staff.
• Ensure cleanliness and security of working areas.
• Interrogate systems to track activity and resolve issues.
• Ensure correct inventory allocation and shipment processes.
• Resolve short pick and put errors and manage customer returns.
• Liaise with dispatch for container availability.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and cycle counts are conducted.

• 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, ideally in retail or e-commerce fulfillment.
• Supervisory or team leader experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
• Experience in retail replenishment and e-commerce fulfillment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety standards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Competence in IT systems and order management tools.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in stock control.
