Associate Art Advisor

As an Associate Art Advisor, you will be a key player in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales through your expert knowledge of the Saks Fifth Avenue Art Collection. You will be responsible for training and educating other SFA Associates, while building strong, long-lasting client relationships.

• Maintain thorough understanding of the current collection to articulate relevant artistic concepts to clients and associates.
• Build familiarity with current collections in NYC and other galleries to assist the team and inform customers.
• Identify as a resource for any questions about the collection and artists.
• Create a welcoming and engaging experience for all clients.
• Consistently meet and exceed sales plans.
• Establish and develop a clientele base.
• Maintain and share knowledge and expertise on the collection throughout the store.
• Collaborate with Saks Leadership and corporate partners to maximize sales opportunities through consultative selling and clienteling.
• Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

• Background in or currently studying Art History.
• Associate's degree and one year of experience, or combination of experience and/or education.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to speak confidently about the collection.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and utilize resources to accomplish goals.
