Associate Store Director - Yorkdale

Summary

The Associate Store Director leads a department within the store, supporting the Store Director to drive sales, client experience, and operational excellence. This role develops and coaches the team, implements action plans and KPIs, and ensures store standards and processes are maintained. The position requires strong leadership, commercial acumen and a clienteling mindset in a luxury retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Director in overseeing floor coverage, sales, visual merchandising and daily operations
• Analyze daily, weekly and monthly results and implement action plans to achieve targets
• Lead, motivate and coach Department Managers and store teams; run briefs and one-to-one meetings
• Drive clienteling and loyalty activities, monitor NPS/CEE scores and follow up with improvements
• Manage inventory, warehouse stock, scheduling, payroll processing and opening/closing procedures
• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, security and internal retail standards and protect store assets

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience leading teams of at least 10 people
• Proven sales experience in luxury retail and successful team leadership
• Strong client service skills, ability to develop client relationships and retention strategies
• Organizational precision, adaptability, strong communication and coaching abilities
• Digital literacy and comfort with reporting, KPIs and CRM/client data management
