Team Manager - Yorkdale

Summary

The Team Manager is responsible for managing store staff, merchandise, and the overall client experience at the Yorkdale location. This role drives sales targets, maintains high operational and visual standards, and develops team members through coaching, training, and succession planning. The manager oversees daily store operations including POS and inventory accuracy and partners with corporate and visual teams to deliver an elevated luxury retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Client Advisors through regular coaching, reviews, and performance management
• Recruit, onboard, and train staff to meet company standards and succession plans
• Achieve sales goals and coordinate client relationship resources to grow the client base and appointment business
• Oversee daily operations including POS usage, inventory management, shrink control, and reporting
• Collaborate with Visual Merchandising to implement merchandising standards and respond to market trends

Requirements

• Business school or university degree, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of retail experience with emphasis on operations, store management, or office administration, preferably in a luxury setting
• Computer literate with proficiency in POS systems and various software packages
• Strong client service, communication, and problem solving skills; candidates with client books preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
