Associate, Store Merchandising

Summary

The Merchandise Operations Associate supports daily merchandise operations including processing, placement, maintenance and fulfillment under the supervision of the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor or Manager. The role requires physical tasks, use of technology for inventory and fulfillment, and delivering excellent customer service while adhering to visual and merchandising standards.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound merchandise for the store
• Place and present merchandise on the selling floor per visual standards
• Maintain merchandise placement and presentation consistency
• Locate requested merchandise and complete customer orders
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly
• Participate in floor recovery and supply replenishment during peak periods
• Perform ad hoc store initiatives and tasks as assigned by management
• Use company technology such as RF devices and store systems to support operations

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
• Ability to learn and retain merchandising and visual standards
• Strong computer skills and ability to use RF guns, PC, iOS devices, Excel and proprietary platforms
• Ability to work in a fast paced team environment with minimal supervision
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Flexible schedule and dependable attendance
• Valid driver license and ability to drive company vehicle as needed
