BOH Supervisor

Summary

The BOH Supervisor oversees back-of-house operations for the store, ensuring efficient receipt, processing, and storage of merchandise. This role leads a small team to maintain inventory accuracy, timely flow of product to the sales floor, and compliance with safety and loss-prevention standards. The supervisor partners with store leadership to support operational priorities and team development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach back-of-house associates, including scheduling and task delegation.
• Receive, inspect, process, and organize incoming shipments accurately and timely.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stockroom organization, and system updates.
• Coordinate product flow to the sales floor and support visual/merchandising needs as required.
• Enforce safety, security, and loss-prevention procedures in the stockroom and receiving areas.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail stockroom, receiving, or warehouse operations; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using inventory or point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise (frequent lifting up to 50 lbs) and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
