Barista

As a Barista at Ralph's Coffee in Chicago, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and crafting quality beverages. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment and ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt service and maintaining store cleanliness.

• Greet customers, take orders, and process cash and credit card transactions.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages according to brand specifications and customer requests.
• Serve prepared foods and pastries.
• Respond to customer needs with urgency and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
• Ensure product is stocked and all areas are clean and sanitized.
• Follow operating instructions to keep equipment functioning properly.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to sanitation regulations.
• Communicate effectively with the store manager regarding store and customer needs.
• Provide feedback to managers and suggest new menu items.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.

• Several years of experience as a barista or in a related position.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• Passion for coffee and hospitality.
• Outgoing and energetic disposition with a polished presence.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with various POS systems is preferred.
