Beauty Concierge - NYC Flagship

Summary

The Beauty Concierge provides outstanding customer service on the cosmetics floor, greeting and directing customers and assisting with product inquiries and services. This role supports store operations as a general resource for customers and employees, handles confidential information, and may make deliveries to customers. The position requires working on the sales floor in a fast-paced environment with frequent physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers and assist with cosmetic product inquiries and services
• Provide information and directions for the cosmetics area to customers and employees
• Support store operations as a general resource for customers and staff
• Suggestively sell and connect customers to salespeople to drive conversion
• Make deliveries to customers and handle merchandise when needed
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling customer information

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and customers
• Proven ability to suggestively sell and connect customers to sales staff
• Strong sense of urgency, prioritization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and use of hands
• Ability to handle bulky items and regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
