Summary
The Beauty Counter Manager provides personalized beauty experiences while maximizing sales for assigned luxury brands through in-store and digital selling. This role combines sales, teaching, and vendor relationship management and requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends and to perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses recommending products to meet customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive business results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and enroll customers in rewards program
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive customer environment
- Keep department organized, clean, and customer-ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection skills with ability to handle customer concerns
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through abilities
- Drive to achieve sales goals and use networking and technology for selling
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to perform continuous movement and physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds
