Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and guest service at an assigned hair and skincare counter, combining hands-on selling with coaching and merchandising. This role focuses on maximizing sales through personalized consultations, digital and in-store selling, and strong vendor collaboration. The manager is responsible for counter performance, customer loyalty, and creating a welcoming experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide makeup applications, skincare analyses, and personalized product recommendations
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools including text and social media
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events, promotions, and maintain vendor relationships
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and enroll customers in rewards programs to build loyalty
• Maintain counter organization and customer-ready presentation

Requirements

• Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare with strong customer service skills
• Ability to connect with customers, handle concerns empathetically, and foster a positive team environment
• Strong multitasking, organization, follow-through, and drive to achieve sales goals
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
• Physical ability to be on feet 6-8 hours, perform frequent bending and reaching, and lift up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds
