Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and customer service for an assigned beauty brand at the store counter, acting as both salesperson and educator. This role focuses on creating personalized beauty experiences, building customer relationships in-store and digitally, and maximizing counter performance. The manager also coordinates vendor events and ensures the counter is organized and customer-ready.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products aligned with customer goals
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools including text and social media
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events, promotions, and in-counter activations
• Build and maintain strong vendor and customer relationships to drive business results
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and open new customer loyalty accounts
• Maintain counter organization, cleanliness, and product presentation

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, trends, makeup application, and skincare with strong customer service skills
• Ability to connect with customers, proactively resolve concerns, and foster a positive team environment
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills with drive to achieve sales targets
• Comfort working in a commissioned sales environment and using networking and technology to build clientele
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends based on business needs
• Physical ability to be on your feet for extended periods and lift items up to 25 pounds
