The Beauty Counter Manager is a results oriented salesperson and teacher responsible for maximizing sales for an assigned beauty brand through personalized consultations, makeup applications, skincare analysis, and digital selling. This role builds customer relationships, manages vendor events, and maintains a customer ready counter in a commissioned sales environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in store and digital tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results
- Handle sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges
- Open new rewards program accounts to build customer loyalty
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive customer environment
- Keep the department organized, clean, and customer ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through training
Requirements
- Passion for customer service and beauty including makeup application and skincare
- Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle customer concerns proactively
- Empathy and respect for customers during makeup and skincare services
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
