Job Description

Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager provides personalized beauty experiences while maximizing sales for an assigned brand. This role balances direct selling, teaching product knowledge, and building customer relationships in a luxury retail environment at the SouthPark location.

Responsibilities

  • Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products
  • Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools
  • Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive results
  • Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
  • Recruit and open new customer accounts for the loyalty program
  • Keep the beauty department organized and customer-ready
  • Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
  • Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment

Requirements

  • Passion for beauty, including makeup application and skincare
  • Excellent customer connection and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Empathy and respect when providing makeup and skincare services
  • Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through abilities
  • Drive to meet sales goals and use networking and technology
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
