Manage and drive sales for an assigned beauty brand on the sales floor by providing personalized makeup applications, skincare consultations, and exceptional customer service while coaching and collaborating with team members to create an inclusive and customer ready beauty counter.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain vendor relationships to maximize results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Open new customer reward accounts and build customer loyalty
- Keep the department organized, clean, and customer ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through provided trainings
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
- Strong ability to connect with customers and handle concerns professionally
- Excellent multitasking, organization, and follow through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and using technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Experience in a commissioned sales environment preferred
- Ability to maintain professionalism during makeup and skincare application
