Summary
Provide personalized beauty experiences through makeup applications, skincare consultations, and product recommendations while driving sales both in-store and digitally. Collaborate with team members to maintain a welcoming, organized department and stay current on beauty trends and brand knowledge. Book appointments and support beauty events and services to build customer loyalty and Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products tailored to customer goals
- Engage customers to build followings in-store and through digital channels including text and social media
- Set and achieve sales goals and participate in performance based incentives and bonuses
- Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services
- Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Keep department organized, clean, and customer ready
- Maintain knowledge of current beauty trends and product information through trainings
- Lift and handle merchandise up to 25 pounds and perform continuous movement during shifts
