Summary

Provide personalized beauty experiences through makeup application, skincare analysis, and product recommendations while driving sales both in-store and digitally. Collaborate with the team to maintain a welcoming and organized department and support beauty events and services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses tailored to customer goals
• Recommend and sell on-trend and luxury beauty products
• Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services
• Use text and social media to engage customers and grow digital sales
• Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
• Maintain department organization and cleanliness to ensure customer readiness
• Participate in trainings to stay current on beauty trends and products
• Open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts to build customer loyalty

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to connect with customers and handle concerns with empathy and respect
• Multitasking, organization, and follow-through abilities
• Drive to achieve sales goals and use networking and technology
• Flexible schedule availability including evenings and weekends
• Ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds
