Beauty Sales - Nyc Flagship

Summary

Provide personalized beauty experiences for customers through makeup application, skincare consultation, and product recommendations for luxury brands. Drive sales both on the floor and through digital selling tools while building customer loyalty and a personal client following. Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a welcoming, organized, and customer-ready beauty department.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products tailored to customer needs
• Engage customers to build relationships and achieve sales goals in-store and via digital channels including text and social media
• Book appointments and support in-store beauty events and services
• Manage transactions including sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist customers with Nordstrom Rewards enrollment
• Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and product presentation; stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare with strong customer service skills
• Ability to connect with customers, handle concerns with empathy, and contribute to a positive team environment
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through; motivation to meet sales targets and use technology for selling
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
• Physical ability to be on your feet 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds
