Summary

The Beauty Stylist drives product sales through expert demonstrations and personalized, one-on-one artistry services. This role focuses on appointment-based and digital selling to meet sales goals while building lasting customer relationships. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, customer-focused, and comfortable in a commissioned sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital channels using selling tools.
• Use text, social media, and appointment-based selling to engage customers and grow sales.
• Initiate consultations using open-ended questions to understand customer needs and preferences.
• Build and maintain customer relationships through follow-up, product recommendations, and event invitations.
• Create in-store events and network within the community to drive traffic and sales.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships to align on key products and brand focus.
• Work a flexible schedule based on department and business needs.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in the beauty industry.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, strong organization, and follow-through.
• High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
• Physical ability to be in continuous movement for 6-8 hours, including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting; regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
