Summary

The Beauty Stylist drives beauty sales by using demonstration and artistry techniques to recommend products and provide one-on-one customer service. This role focuses on appointment-based and digital selling, building customer relationships, and maintaining product expertise while working a variable schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels
• Use selling tools including text and social media to engage customers
• Conduct service consultations to learn customer preferences and needs
• Build lasting customer relationships through follow up and event invitations
• Grow sales by focusing on appointment-based selling and opening rewards accounts
• Create in-store events and network in the community
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and product knowledge
• Perform physical tasks including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of beauty industry experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization, follow-through, and ability to prioritize tasks
• High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
• Capacity for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift
• Frequent use of hands for fine manipulation and handling merchandise
