Summary

The Beauty Stylist drives beauty sales through demonstration and artistry, providing one-on-one customer service and building lasting client relationships. This role focuses on appointment-based and digital selling, using product expertise and industry trends to meet sales goals. The stylist works in a commissioned sales environment and collaborates with vendors and the community to create events and grow business.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels
• Use selling tools including text and social media to grow sales
• Conduct service consultations to learn customer preferences and needs
• Build and maintain customer relationships through follow up and product recommendations
• Drive appointment-based selling and open new rewards accounts
• Create in-store events and network in the community
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and identify key product focuses
• Work a flexible schedule with hours varying by business needs
• Perform continuous movement and handle merchandise as required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of beauty industry experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization, follow through, and initiative
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Capacity for continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift
• Frequent use of hands for fine manipulation and lifting up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
